Visual & Performing Arts Program Manager
Aaron Bryan serves as the Program Manager for the Visual & Performing Arts Department in the office of the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools. Aaron is also an adjunct faculty member for the School of Education at Fresno Pacific University. He holds a BA in Music Education from Fresno Pacific University and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from CSU Los Angeles. Before leaving the classroom, Aaron taught choral music for 15 years in Fresno County. In 2014 Aaron was named "Teacher of the Year" for Riverdale High School and Riverdale Joint Unified Schools and was then honored as one of three finalists in all of Fresno County for the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools’ "Teacher of the Year Award" and was named the recipient of the "John Barnett Award” for excellence in education and community service. Aaron also directs the Fresno County Youth Choir and oversees the Stages Youth Theatre Project. Both programs are offered to students throughout Fresno County at no cost due to the generosity of the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, Jim Yovino, and the Foundation@FCOE. Aaron serves as the Liaison to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., providing leadership to the Any Given Child Fresno County initiative.
