Dotti Ysais is a Project Director III for the Los Angeles County Office of Education’s Center for Distance and Online Learning Unit. Under her leadership, CDOL has provided blended and online professional development for faculty and administrators throughout the Los Angeles County serving both districts and charters and pre-service college and university teaching programs. She brings practical classroom and school site knowledge to the delivery of grants and programs in the following areas: Student Mental Wellness, Arts Integration, Social Emotional Learning, Literacy and Mathematics and now MTSS. She has received several awards including the ALACOSA Administrator of the Year honor. Dotti coordinates and provides innovative online and blended professional development to teachers and administrators to meet the needs of our unique county and has recently been awarded a second NEA grant and an OELA federal grant in partnership with LACOE’s MAS unit to serve our English Learners. The OELA grant is for five years and is titled TELA, Teaching English Learners Through The Arts.
