Louisa Castrodale, Arts Coordinator for Palm Springs Unified School District, and Christine Dodd, Publisher of Art Patron magazine will share the new curriculum they have designed for fourth graders. The curriculum explores 4 living artists whose work is culturally relevant, political, autobiographical and beautiful. Teachers will explore the artist's works as narratives using Visual Thinking Strategies. They will also make an individual, yet collaborative art piece.
