In this presentation, participants will learn how the ELL shadowing app assisted teachers with becoming more empathetic to the needs of their ELLs, as well as more accurate in data collection, and efficacious in the instruction of their students. Participants will learn how to use the shadowing app, and achievement data from a two-year grant that included shadowing will be presented.
I am a Whittier College Professor of Education, on loan to CABE to direct a bilingual teacher and administrator pipeline program. At this year's conference, I will be presenting on findings from an ELL shadowing app project.
