Learn practical ways of engaging students in conversation and become familiar with the speaking and listening portion of the new English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) for K-2nd grade. This session will focus on the requirements English Language Learners need to make successful progress in English Language Development. Participants will collaborate using different strategies for their classroom to develop strong speaking and listening comprehension skills. Resources will be available during the workshop.
