Counterspaces are defined as a social setting where two or more individuals come together to challenge the story that is normally told about a particular group when it is told, also known as the master narrative and restorative practices are inclusionary. This workshop will focus on how humans are more likely to make positive changes in their behavior when those in position of authority do things with them, rather than to them (Wachtel, 2013, p.8).
