Presenter will describe an integration of writing, geometry, and art with a focus on Dual Immersion classes. The outline will demonstrate how teachers assist students in writing a poem using geometric shapes. Attendees will have time to create their own poems. Supplies, coloring materials, and handouts provided. Connections made to Common Core Standards. It’s lively, interactive, and fun!
