This presentation will describe the journey taken by a university teacher education program addressing the bilingual teacher shortage through multiple routes. Collaborative means other educational agencies were used to forge new routes. These routes consits of new innovative courses on bilingual and dual language programs, extended recruitment efforts through social media, a course preparation on state LOTE exam, and the development of grants and scholarships.
