This institute introduces participants to culturally and linguistically responsive strategies for integrating music and language education so that students and teachers can engage deeply and equitably in the arts, language, and culture, and explore their full creative identities. Using the content of Arabic and Arab arts and culture, participants will engage in hands-on activities led by internationally recognized musicians and language educators and collaboratively explore how to integrate some of their work in arts and language learning settings.
