This session will provide public school newcomers and seasoned school and parent leaders alike with strategies to help move schools beyond having a ‘dialogue for dialogue’s sake.’ Find out how your school or district can creatively, strategically strengthen communication in support of parent engagement. Effective parent-school partnerships have champions who build civic capacity as well as school capacity. Learn how the Chula Vista Elementary School District has involved parents in everything from accountability plans to marketing efforts.
