There’s never been a better time to advocate for biliteracy! The House of Representatives is now under Democratic control, and We enjoy strong bipartisan support in Washington. We will review current legislative initiatives for biliteracy, discuss national efforts such as the National English Learner Round Table and the Working Group on Languages of the American Academy of Arts and Sceinces, and engage in email advocacy for America’s languages during the workshop.
