Talent is equally distributed but opportunities are not. The number of ELLs continues to grow but we have not achieved proportionality in Gifted, Talented and Accelerated (GTA) programs. Learn how to revamp selection criteria, inform parent boards regarding the benefits of diversity, and explore strategies that prepare ELLs for more depth and more complex learning opportunities. This session will also help general education teachers amp up their classroom and it will prepare GTA teachers for ELLs.
