In this workshop will explore the world of bilingual education in Argentina, the largest Spanish-speaking country in South America. We will review the main characteristics of colegios bilingües and compare them with other language teaching provisions. We will focus on the programs of teacher preparation undertaken by teachers in these schools. The approach will be interactive and encourage participants to reflect on the similarities and differences with systems they are familiar with.
