This presentations discusses several evidence-based instructional strategies examined by Spanish-speaking dual language teachers for improving elementary children's L1 language development. A brief background of the teachers, the relevant research literature, and a discussion about the the effectiveness of the strategies will be included in the presentation with time for questions and answers.
