Annette Gregg is a Senior Engagement Manager for the Comprehensive School Assistance Program (CSAP) at WestEd. Since 2011, she has worked with school and district leaders to help build systemic capacity to improve educational programs for all students, especially those affected by the achievement gap.Annette leads teams that offer targeted, customized supports to improve outcomes for students. She specializes in helping leaders and teachers strengthen instruction and instructional systems so that English language learners meet the rigor of the Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards through implementing state-adopted English Language Development standards.Additionally, Annette works closely to develop the capacity of district and site instructional coaches to enhance implementation and build high-quality instructional practices. Her work includes developing professional learning sessions, capacity development, and supporting site and district-level strategic planning, including the rewriting and re-envisioning of EL Master Plans.
Annette received a BA in Spanish literature from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a minor in applied developmental psychology; an MA in education from the University of California, Berkeley; and an EdM in education policy and management from Harvard University.
